Use this guide to print Yuzu documents for selected Shippo orders from the Shippo orders list.
Before you start
Install Yuzu Print Extension in Chrome.
Set up your Yuzu API key and App ID using Create a Yuzu API key and choose an App ID.
Set up printer routing using Find printer IDs and set a printer override or Set up tag-based printer routing in Yuzu Print Extension.
If you need to copy the same extension setup to another packing bench, use Share Yuzu Print Extension configuration between benches.
If you need help reading extension messages while testing, use Understand Yuzu Print Extension notifications.
Supported workflows
Workflow | Manual print | Auto-print |
Batch Order Selection | Yes | No |
3PL mode: No. Shippo does not currently provide a supported 3PL workflow in Yuzu Print Extension. For platforms that support merchant mappings, use Set up 3PL mode in Yuzu Print Extension.
Custom domains: No. Shippo uses the standard Shippo domain for this integration. For platforms that support custom domains, use Use a custom domain with Yuzu Print Extension.
Choose the right App ID
Shippo prints from order numbers. Choose the App ID based on how those order numbers map to Yuzu.
Use the source app ID when the Shippo order numbers match the order IDs from the source app connected to Yuzu.
Use the org/team ID when the order numbers printed from Shippo are unique within your Yuzu team.
If orders are not found during testing, review the App ID choice first.
Configure Yuzu settings for Shippo
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings.
Set Platform to Shippo.
Confirm your Yuzu API key and App ID are saved.
Choose how documents should route to printers:
Use Static Printer ID when every document should go to one printer.
Use Tag-Based Routing when documents with tags such as
Invoice,Gift message, andStickershould go to different printers.
Save your settings.
Print selected Shippo orders
Open the Shippo orders list your team uses for fulfilment.
Select the orders you want to print.
Click the Yuzu print button in the Shippo action area.
Wait for the Yuzu notification confirming the print request was created.
Auto-print is not available for Shippo at the moment, so each Shippo print run starts from the Yuzu print button.
Test the workflow
Select one Shippo order that already exists in Yuzu.
Click the Yuzu print button.
Confirm the expected document prints at the configured printer.
Repeat with a small batch of selected orders.
If you use tag-based routing, test an order with multiple document tags and confirm each document reaches the expected printer.
Troubleshooting
The Yuzu print button does not appear: Refresh Shippo, confirm the extension is enabled, and confirm Platform is set to Shippo in extension settings.
No order is selected: Select at least one Shippo order before clicking the Yuzu print button.
Order not found in Yuzu: Check whether the App ID should be the source app ID or the org/team ID. Shippo sends order numbers to Yuzu for this workflow.
Documents print to the wrong printer: Review Static Printer ID or Tag-Based Routing in extension settings. See Find printer IDs and set a printer override and Set up tag-based printer routing in Yuzu Print Extension.
A printer is offline or a print request fails: Check the notification details, then use Understand Yuzu Print Extension notifications.
You need 3PL merchant routing: Shippo does not currently support 3PL mode in Yuzu Print Extension. Use a supported 3PL platform workflow instead.
You use a custom Shippo domain: Custom-domain support is not currently available for Shippo in Yuzu Print Extension.
