Use this guide to copy a working Yuzu Print Extension setup from one bench or browser profile to another.
Before you start
Configure and test the extension on one bench first.
Only share configuration with trusted teammates or devices.
Check whether the configuration includes sensitive values such as API keys or merchant mappings before sending it.
Copy the configuration from the working bench
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings on the bench that already works.
Confirm the platform, API key, App ID, printer routing, 3PL mappings, and auto-print settings are correct.
Click Copy to Clipboard.
Send the copied configuration to the person setting up the other bench using your normal internal channel, such as Slack or email.
Import the configuration on another bench
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings on the new bench.
Click Import Configuration.
Paste the copied configuration.
Import it.
Review the settings before saving.
Click Save and Apply.
Check bench-specific settings
After importing, review anything that may differ between benches:
Printer override or Printer UUID.
Auto-print workflows.
3PL merchant mappings.
Custom-domain settings, if used.
Whether the imported API key belongs to the correct Yuzu team.
Test the imported setup
Open a known order in the platform on the new bench.
Print manually first.
Confirm the expected documents print from the expected printer.
If the bench uses auto-print, enable or test auto-print only after manual printing works.
Troubleshooting
Import fails: Copy the configuration again from the working bench and make sure the full value was pasted.
The new bench prints to the wrong printer: Check the imported Printer UUID and update it for the bench.
The new bench cannot find orders: Check the imported App ID and API key.
3PL merchant orders do not print: Confirm the imported merchant mapping is live and belongs to the correct Yuzu team.
You sent the configuration to the wrong place: Rotate the API key in Yuzu, then update the benches that still need access.
