Use this guide to print Yuzu documents from Extensiv while your team works in Pack and Ship.
Before you start
Install Yuzu Print Extension in Chrome.
Sign in to Extensiv and open the warehouse workflow your team uses.
Create or collect the Yuzu API key for the team that owns the orders you want to print. See Create a Yuzu API key and choose an App ID.
Choose the App ID you want the extension to use. See Create a Yuzu API key and choose an App ID.
Set up printer routing if you need documents to go to specific printers. See Find printer IDs and set a printer override and Set up tag-based printer routing in Yuzu Print Extension.
If you fulfil for multiple merchants, set up 3PL mode before testing live orders. See Set up 3PL mode in Yuzu Print Extension.
Supported workflows
Extensiv workflow | Manual print | Auto-print | Notes |
Pack and Ship | Yes | Yes | Use this when processing one order through the Pack and Ship workflow. |
3PL mode: Supported for Extensiv. Use it when one Extensiv warehouse account fulfils orders for multiple Yuzu merchants.
Custom domains: Not supported for Extensiv in Yuzu Print Extension. Use your normal Extensiv hosted workspace.
Choose the App ID
Yuzu Print Extension can print using either a source app ID or a Yuzu org/team ID.
Use the source app ID when the order IDs shown in Extensiv match the source IDs in a specific Yuzu app.
Use the org/team ID when the IDs being printed are unique within the Yuzu team. This is usually simpler when one team owns all orders being printed from Extensiv.
If you are not sure which one applies, test with one known order before enabling auto-print for the warehouse team.
Configure Yuzu Print Extension for Extensiv
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings.
Select Extensiv as the platform.
Enter your Yuzu API key.
Enter the App ID you chose for this Extensiv setup.
Choose your printer override option: use Static Printer ID for one printer, or Tag-Based Routing for documents such as
Invoice,Gift message, andSticker.Save the settings.
For setup details, use Create a Yuzu API key and choose an App ID, Find printer IDs and set a printer override, Set up tag-based printer routing in Yuzu Print Extension, Share Yuzu Print Extension configuration between benches, and Understand Yuzu Print Extension notifications.
Set up 3PL mode for Extensiv
Use 3PL mode when Extensiv includes orders for more than one merchant and each merchant needs its own Yuzu API key or App ID.
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings.
Select Extensiv.
Turn on 3PL mode.
Add a merchant mapping for each Extensiv customer or merchant name your team prints for.
Add the matching Yuzu API key and App ID for each live merchant mapping.
Leave incomplete mappings as draft until they are ready to print.
Save the settings.
For the full 3PL setup flow, use Set up 3PL mode in Yuzu Print Extension.
If a merchant is missing or still in draft, Yuzu may skip the print instead of sending documents to the wrong team.
Enable auto-print for Pack and Ship
Auto-print can be used with Extensiv Pack and Ship after your API key, App ID, printer routing, and any 3PL mappings are ready.
Open Yuzu Print Extension settings.
Select Extensiv.
Find the auto-print workflow settings.
Enable auto-print for Pack and Ship.
Save the settings.
Test with one known order before using auto-print in a live packing flow.
Keep auto-print off until you have confirmed the correct Yuzu order prints from Extensiv.
Print from Extensiv Pack and Ship
In Extensiv, open the Pack and Ship workflow.
Open or scan the order you want to process.
Wait for the order details to load.
To print manually, click the Yuzu print button in the Pack and Ship workflow.
To auto-print, process the order as normal after auto-print is enabled.
Check the printer and Yuzu Print Extension notifications before moving to the next order.
If the Yuzu print button does not appear immediately, wait for the Pack and Ship order details to finish loading and refresh the workflow if needed.
Batch consolidation warning
Extensiv may show a Yuzu warning when multiple selected orders include Yuzu reference numbers and are being consolidated together.
When you see this warning, process those orders through the Yuzu single-order workflow instead of batch consolidating them. This helps avoid printing documents from the wrong order context.
Test or confirm it worked
Choose an Extensiv order that already exists in Yuzu.
Confirm the Yuzu API key and App ID match the team or source app that owns the order.
Confirm the printer is online.
Print manually from Pack and Ship.
Confirm the expected documents print.
If you use tag-based routing, confirm each document tag prints to the expected printer.
If you use 3PL mode, repeat the test for each live merchant mapping.
Enable auto-print only after manual printing is confirmed.
Test auto-print with one order and confirm it does not duplicate prints.
Troubleshooting
The Yuzu print button does not appear: Confirm Yuzu Print Extension is installed and enabled, then refresh Extensiv and reopen the Pack and Ship workflow after the order details have loaded.
Auto-print does not run: Confirm auto-print is enabled for Pack and Ship and test manual print first.
Yuzu says the order was not found: Check whether the App ID should be the source app ID or the org/team ID.
Documents print to the wrong printer: Check the printer override settings. Use Static Printer ID for one printer or Tag-Based Routing with the correct
Document TagandPrinter UUIDvalues.A 3PL merchant does not print: Check the merchant mapping in 3PL mode. The mapping must be live and must include the correct API key and App ID for that merchant.
A warning appears during consolidation: Process the listed Yuzu orders through the single-order workflow instead of consolidating them together.
The printer is offline or nothing prints: Check the printer status in Yuzu and confirm the selected Printer UUID belongs to the printer you expect.
